Brovenn provides Brovenn to help Ontario contractors and project owners advertise services, find project opportunities and communicate. These terms apply to your use of Brovenn. Read them together with the privacy notice.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep control of your email and sign-in details, and use only an account you are authorized to operate. You are responsible for the content and actions you submit. Confirming an email address enables account features; it does not establish a person's identity or business credentials. Contact support if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Your ads and availability

Use the available categories for contractor services and project opportunities. Keep trade, location, crew, availability, scope and contact details accurate. Update or close an ad when the offer is no longer current. Equipment and materials mentioned in a contractor ad are advertiser-provided offers; availability, cost and any supply arrangement must be agreed directly between the parties.

Ads can expire or become unavailable. Closing or expiry stops new inquiries and makes existing conversations read-only. A valid renewal can reopen messaging, but does not restore removed project files or previous file-sharing permissions. Renewals and edits do not guarantee additional promotion, responses or work. Keep your own copies of important records.

Working with other members

Brovenn provides a place to make contact. It does not employ crews, award contracts, arrange or guarantee work, collect project payments, or act as a party to your work agreements. We do not guarantee a member's identity, qualifications, insurance, availability, statements or work quality.

Before agreeing to work, independently check the other party's business information, required Ontario licences and trade authorizations, insurance and WSIB status where applicable. Agree directly on scope, price, payment, scheduling, permits, safety responsibilities and other terms. Each party is responsible for its own agreements and compliance with applicable law. A profile, review, email confirmation or reply statistic is not Brovenn's endorsement or a credential check.

Content and permission to share

Post only text, photos, PDFs and other information that you own or have permission to use and disclose. You keep any rights you have in your content. By submitting it, you authorize Brovenn to store, process and display it as needed to operate the service, apply your sharing choices and handle safety or support matters.

Public ads, photos, profiles and reviews can be viewed, copied and shared by others. Public ad content may also appear in search services, RSS feeds, opted-in email alerts and public Telegram channels. Removing content from Brovenn does not recall screenshots, downloads, search-engine copies or messages already delivered elsewhere.

Do not place private contact details, identification documents or other sensitive personal information in public content without authority. If you enable public phone contact on an ad, you authorize visitors, including people without accounts, to reveal that number. Each ad has its own choice; changing a number in account Contact info does not update existing ads.

Messages and project files

Use messages and shared files for legitimate discussions about the advertised work. A project owner can explicitly share a project's current and future PDFs with an individual conversation and can revoke that access. Access also depends on the status of the accounts, conversation and related ads. Download only files you are authorized to access, and do not redistribute another person's private content without permission or another lawful basis.

Check that a file is appropriate and safe before relying on or opening it. File sharing is not verification of plans, credentials, ownership or suitability for construction. Blocking or revoking access cannot remove a copy someone already downloaded.

Reviews and acceptable use

Reviews must reflect your actual experience, be relevant and truthful, and respect other people's privacy. Review eligibility requires qualifying account and conversation activity; it does not prove completed work or payment. You can update or remove your own published review. Do not fabricate reviews, manipulate ratings, threaten retaliation or publish another person's private information.

Do not use Brovenn for fraud, impersonation, unlawful or discriminatory content, harassment, threats, spam or misleading trade claims. Do not harvest contact information for unsolicited marketing, attempt unauthorized access, bypass another member's sharing choices, upload harmful content or interfere with the service.

Reports and moderation

Report suspicious ads, messages and reviews through the available reporting controls or contact support. We may remove or hide content, restrict account features or suspend access to investigate reports, enforce these terms, comply with law and protect members. Authorized staff may review reported private messages and relevant context for those purposes. Brovenn does not routinely approve each ad before publication, and the presence of content is not a guarantee that it is accurate or permitted.

Account deletion and service changes

You can start the account-deletion process in account settings. The privacy notice explains the recovery period, subsequent cleanup and limits on recalling information already shared with others. Closing an ad or submitting a privacy request does not by itself delete the account.

Features and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted. Brovenn does not guarantee that content or messages will remain available indefinitely. We may revise these terms; the date above identifies the latest revision. Nothing in these terms removes rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
